THIS PLACE SLAAAAAAAAAAAAPSSSSSSS! I was here with a group of 6 for a weekday dinner. This was my first experience here and El Burrito Amigo is by far my favorite taco place of all time. The restaurant is not IG aesthetic by any means, however, it has everything you need in a taco shop. Our group placed our orders at the front counter and the process was simple. The staff member that helped us was friendly and happy to answer any questions we had. Once our food was ready they called the number on our receipts and we picked up our food at the same counter we ordered from. There is a limited selection of alcohol but they have the essentials. For my drink I got a beer (Pacifico) and for dinner I got 3 tacos: al pastor, carne asada and pollo. I also tried a bite of my fiance's gordita plate (1 carne asada and 1 al pastor with rice and beans on the side). I was very surprised about how tasty the rice was. Going forward I plan on ordering the taco plate instead of just tacos. Out of the 3 tacos I had, the al pastor was my favorite. El Burrito Amigo's al pastor taco is hands down the best al pastor taco ever created. It is marinated and seasoned very well and cooked perfectly. Lastly our table shared chips and guac - WOW. The avocados they use are of excellent quality and all of the ingredients together were a masterpiece in the mouth. This side item was fresh, light and extremely addictive.
For lunch, this is an amazing place with nice and quick service where you can quickly get Mexican food which tastes good. I got my food within five minutes after I had placed an order. I loved thier steak tacos, sopes and burritos and their "zanahorias in vinagre" all of food I ordered were delicious. The workers here are always smiling as they serve you and every meal is perfect. In particular, the steak burrito is wonderful as it is made from healthy lean meat and the quantity is reasonable. If am near then it would be great to grab a bite. Thanks guys!
First time here. Thoroughly enjoyed the 3 Carne Asada Taco Plate with Rice and Beans, Carne Asada Tostada and Horchata. Tables were clean, red and green salsa bottles were not sticky. Food came out very quickly and exactly as ordered. Video gaming in the back if you're interested. Will return to try the menudo and desayuno.
I'd give it 4.5 but since it's round numbers I'm giving a 4. A 5 is reserved for the most amazing places. I had the taco platter. The al pastor is the best I can remember ever having in my life. I also had the lengua and picadillo. They were both good but the al pastor was top tier. The rice and beans are really tasty. If I lived in the area I'd be a regular customer of this place.
This is the only Mexican restaurant around that doesn't overcook their chicken tacos. They are very friendly and their service is amazing. I won't go anywhere else.
One of the best place to eat tacos. I tried taco asada. And it was good. Packed with lots of beef. Its very tasty. I could eat 5 of them. Been here twice and i came back to try again. Place is also good.
El Burrito Amigo was recommended for their carne asada because they serve it ranchera style. So I had to go check it out. I ordered the taco dinner and ordered carne asada, lengua, and al pastor. All were delicious, but the star was the carne asada. Carne asada ranchera is the way to go! Normally, I'm not a big fan of refried beans, but El Burrito Amigo does a good job of making refried beans. And the Mexican rice was flavorful. So, if you're feeling super hungry, I'd recommend the taco dinner and order all carne asada tacos. I only wish they had homemade tortillas. I'll be back again!
Stopped by for lunch, my boss recommended this spot, definitely authentic Mexican cuisine. We went with the 2 orders of the steak tacos with all the toppings. We sat done and they called us when the order was ready. Open kitchen, so you can watch the magic happen. We poured their sauces (both) and have to say the tacos were delicious! Looking forward to returning and trying more of their fare! Mangia & Cheers.
A great Burrito Carne Asada was what I really had a taste for on the morning I stumbled upon this place. The interior is very basic but clean. There aren't many frills or thrills but that's fine by me. The burrito was large, fresh, and delicious! Great combination of flavors and a good hot salsa to douse it with. The only thing I couldn't believe they didn't have was the Mexican version of Coca-Cola. Overall a great quick lunch. Great food, clean restaurant, and quick service. Perfect!
